Yesterday a UPS delivery guy visited me, which means that the prize pedals of William's lottery have arrived! There was a small adjustment we made with Fanatec.

When I started to plan hardmounting of the Elite LC pedals, which Fanatec was about to ship to me, I noticed from the online manual that the "assembled" width of the pedals is around 39 centimeters. However, my sim rig has inner width of 37 cm only. So there would be couple of options, for example to bolt each pedal separately (without the heelrest, which is the widest part). But the option I decided to take, was to pay the difference in price and upgrade the set to CSP v3 pedals. These are "plug and play" with my rig. I think that Elites would have had an excellent brake pedal, but I believe that I will be quite happy with v3 brake as well. ;)

Couple of photos about the delivery for starters below. I didn't have time to finalize the mounting yet, but did some revving with the pedals on the floor. :D I will update the thread when I have everything in place. Once again, thanks SRP, SRP members and Fanatec!

And here they are on a Simetik K2 sim rig. The pedals weigh a lot and the same heavy-duty feeling is present also while driving. These are my first load cell based pedals (I'm coming from a T3PA-set), and I would say that adjusting the amount of braking is a lot easier, like it should be. On the downside in the first trials I have many times been approaching corners with excess speed, due to my left foot giving too little initial braking. :D This is simply because the previous set had so little brake resistance. I think that it will enhance with some practice.

Overall, it's a very nice piece of hardware. Great job Fanatec!

Well I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed my first load cell set (V2s). Make sure you download the Fanaleds software so you can activate the vibration feedback in the throttle and brake pedals!

Thanks man, I will remember if I some day switch to PC. Currently I'm using the pedals on a console and lacking the rumbles.

Congrats on the pedals! I found your post as I was waiting for my K2 to arrive...and I have CSL elite pedals...oh no! I thought I was going to have to cut or grind the footrest down. But they actually do fit, just barely! It worked out well for you with the V3's so that's great but thought I'd share if anyone is researching this combo.

Addy, great! Can you even use the full inclination scale, or does it get too tight with zero degrees?

By the way, do you have CSL Elite wheel base as well? That should be my next hardware upgrade. :)
