patrick kind of answered my question, but iv raced for YEEEARS on a G27 rig and now want to move up and I have decided on fanatec but wondered what the real difference is between the V2 and V2.5 is and if its really worth the money for the .5

If you already own the V2, it's a great wheel, I can't go out and say "Spend $500 on the new wheel!" But I'd say there are some pretty good improvements on the V2.5 that justify getting it over the V2. I'll say that the V2.5 is the SMOOTHEST belt-driven wheel I have EVER driven, which is a big thing.

If you want more, here's my review I put together of the wheel:

Thanks William, thats what I was initially trying to find out. Since I am going to take the next step and purchase the fanatec clubsport I might as well invest the extra $200. Im guessing, like VR, direct drive will be in development still before it becomes more readily available to average consumers, so I assume belt drive will be around for awhile
Also, I primarily play Rally, do you recommend any wheels for the V2.5? Clubsport drift?

Wheels I'd recommend... I use the Clubsport Universal Hub + Forza Motorsport Rim, but I bet the Drift rim could work
